My work is about the city. This project is still active and alive and started in 2008 in Barcelona. All the photos are a part of the project which depending from the situation I choose to exhibit every time.

My plan is to find ways to travel to different cities and there built and exhibit my utopic cities.New York could be the second city after Barcelona (and Athens which I live), to inspire and enrich my project .Making a piece of art in different places is for me a completely different process due to the different images and stimulations, a place can offer.

I use the city, as an open ground of exchanging, as a chaotic and abstract landscape but also as a living organism who reveals to the traveler its thousands hidden faces, which are not written to guide-books.

Utopia, as a reference point which is complemented with Italo Calvino’s Invisible Cities, Futurists’ manifests, transparent cities visioned by architectures such as Bruno Taut, talk with the special appreciation of Origami, the Japanese animation of the 90’ s, which have early determined not only aesthetically but also notionally my work, even if it was unconsciously.

Architecture combined with light sculpture, drawings and animation.

I construct imaginary cities with different materials, depending from the sense I want to give each time, inspired from the urban environment I visit.

My plan is to built fantastic cities with transparent materials connected with city landscape of the city and drawings from the city landscape, combined with the semantics that reveal its hidden aspects.

I use light materials which are ,a kind of plastic paper to built my cities, and also linear drawings and stop motion animation.

My aim is to work with architectural forms and give them a a personal view depending from the different route I follow every time.

A deal of the city as explorer who wants to discover more than the obvious

beyond the surface of a cityscape.

I pump inspiration from the “important” and less “important” facts of the everyday life in the city and begin a storytelling about the different faces that a city can have, and how the traveller translates , enrich and interact

with the urban environment.
